Koh
Lanta - Places Of Interest
As one of Thailand's more spectacular locations, exploring
Koh Lanta is a must. Spectacular waterfalls, beautiful bays and
off-shore islands offer visitors a look at the natural beauty of
Southern Thailand.
Koh Taleng Bang
Covered with limestone rocks and caves, the island is home to the
famous nests from which we get bird's-nest soup. Small beaches and
caves appear at low tide.
Koh Hah
A group of five tiny islands, this is good snorkelling ground with
coral and a few tropical fish.
Koh Ngai
One of the more developed islands, Koh Ngai is a popular diving
site. A few bungalows are available for an overnight stay. A regualr
ferry service runs from Pakmeng in Trang Province.
Koh Rok Nai
Split into two halves, on the south/east of the island is an unspoilt
beach and excellent coral around the sea rocks. To the north are
Ao San Jao and Ao Tahng, great spots for doing nothing!
Koh Rok Nok
Highlights here are the beaches at the southern end of the island,
in particular Ao Man Sai Bay and Talu Beach. Similar to Koh Ngai
in terms of development, a regular boat service runs from Pakmeng
in Trang Province.
